CWG March Meeting is Thursday, March 21

Our guest speaker for March will be Jordan Salkin (JoEllens’s daughter for anyone who isn’t aware). Jordan’s presentation is called “Master the Photography of Fiber,” and she will be sharing her best tips and tricks for taking photos of your work. She will go over lighting techniques, how to frame your photo with the perfect composition and background, and will even share a few editing tips.

Jordan is a scientific photographer at NASA’s Glenn Research Center. She has won numerous awards for her work, including awards with the Plain Dealer, Rochester Institute of Technology where she went to school, and with NASA. Jordan has also been published in several books and articles including in The Plain Dealer, The New York Times, F-Stoppers, two textbooks and the Smithsonian’s Air and Space Magazine.
