February Home Study Group is Thursday, February 5 at 10:00am.
We will have to coordinate our refreshments for this visit. 
Come visit, share, have snacks and talk weaving with our old friend and longtime member Ele.

CWG cancellation and thoughts about re-scheduling

Due to today’s weather, the  CMA field trip was canceled.  Our guide, Laura Martin, is willing to set up another date.

If you have an interest in  re-scheduling, please communicate some dates to Bob or Nancy.  Keep in mind that the exhibit closes February 1.

Meanwhile, staying safe takes precedence.

Winter newsletter deadline is approaching—Monday, December 1

The week of Thanksgiving celebrations is upon us.  All good wishes for your Thanksgiving doings.

Monday, December 1 is the deadline for the newsletter.

Be sure to send your submissions anywhere near that date, as your holiday weekend may be happily busy.

Please send newsletter materials, especially items of recent doings and program notes for the upcoming CWG year. A President’s letter, program notes, study group notes and member’s news will all be welcome.

No doubt that photos of your projects, a new technique or yarn you are trying,  or a weaving reference book you have discovered will be welcome. Or even an essay about your weaving adventures, discoveries, or compatriots. Perhaps a quandary that you would like help with.

In earlier discussions about the foibles of our weaving work might fit into a new column based on Penelope’s weaving tactics——you know, the part where she weaves and unweaves.  We all have stories about our version so please send yours.
