Beachwood Library Show Takedown

The Beachwood Library has us scheduled to take down the show on Wednesday, June 28th, from 5:30-9:00 pm. This is two days earlier than we had on our schedule. So everyone needs to come to the library at those hours on Wednesday to gather their items for the end of the show.

Looms, floor and table and weaving equipment such as warping board, warping mill etc., spinning wheels, drum carder and hand cards, fleece, yarn, fabric, thread, buttons and notions, weaving spinning, knitting and craft books and magazines (huge amount).

American Tapestry Alliance exhibit in Troy, OH, opens September 27th
The American Tapestry Alliance opens its exhibit, Small Tapestry International 3: Outside the Line, an international exhibition juried by Hesse McGraw on September 27th at the Troy-Hayner Cultural Arts Center, 301 West Main Street Troy, Ohio 45373, (937) 339-0457.
The opening reception is from 6:00 pm – 7:30 pm, and the show is open until December 1st.
The show features contemporary tapestries designed and woven by 38 artists from around the world.

Reminder: Sale this Saturday
Don’t forget the yarn sale happening this Saturday, June 1st, 9:00 am at Jean’s house: 2980 Washington Blvd., Cleveland Heights, OH.
Two looms– a 4-harness table loom suitable for workshops and an 8-harness Macomber add-a-harness floor loom– will be for sale, along with the usual array of books and magazines, yarn (of course), and who knows what other goodies (well, Jean knows, but we find out Saturday).
A portion of the proceeds benefits the Guild, so please tell your friends and come early to shop.
